In March 2009 the partnership between Bigla and Fabian Cancellara became reality. Biga became the new main sponsor of the professional cyclist from Bern. This long-term affiliation allows the athlete and father to reliably plan his private and professional future.
Fritz Bösch, a long-time friend and sponsor of Fabian Cancellara, and Bigla AG will together accompany him for at least the next three years on the road to new victories.

The two-time Olympic winner and world champion was voted Swiss Athlete of the Year in 2009, which underscores the outstanding character and good image of the Bernese bicycle racer. With his clear targets and his strong performance, he carries a solid image, and ideally represents the success of Bigla.
